The MHBA’s Fall Parade of Homes will provide homebuyers with the chance to see first-hand the latest work by 37 of Manitoba’s leading homebuilding companies.

It’s hard to believe that we are only four weeks away from the 2019 Fall Parade of Homes!

The Manitoba Home Builders’ Association’s parades of homes are the signature showcase events for Manitoba’s residential construction industry, providing Manitobans interested in building their new dream home an opportunity and experience unlike anything else available in Canada.

The MHBA’s 2019 Fall Parade of Homes starts on Saturday, Sept. 7, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 29. Tens of thousands of people are expected to visit parade show homes in many of Manitoba’s newest neighbourhoods to learn about the latest trends in new home and interior design, the hottest new home technology and building materials and to potentially find their new dream home.

Manitoba’s parades of homes continue to be the biggest and best parades in Canada. This fall, there will be more than 130 unique new homes on display. When one considers that some of the larger parades in other Canadian cities range around 30 display homes, having more than 130 different options available to visit — each one with its own layout, materials, finishes and designs — means our parade gives Manitoba homebuyers a unique opportunity to see and experience the widest variety of homebuilding options in an actual home setting. An opportunity and showcase of this scope and size is uniquely Manitoban.

It is also a great chance to check out and explore many of Manitoba’s newest neighbourhoods. This year’s fall parade will again feature show homes in the newest communities within the city of Winnipeg. And once again, there are many amazing show homes for viewing in Brandon, La Salle, Niverville, St. Adolphe, Stonewall, Headingley, Oak Bluff, East St. Paul and West St. Paul. We are very excited to feature two new communities — Selkirk and Grande Pointe Meadows — in this fall’s parade. Finding out which community has the right set of amenities and services that best fit your family can be just as important as finding which new home design is the right one for you. Taking in the Fall Parade of Homes is a great way to explore these wonderful new communities and neighbourhoods across Manitoba.

In just four weeks, the best of Manitoba’s new-home construction will once again be on display. Look for the Fall Parade of Homes magazine in the Sept. 7 edition of the Free Press and at any Steinbach Credit Union. Our parade magazine not only provides the details on our parade show homes, but also contains great articles and features on the latest trends in homebuilding and home design.

In the next few weeks, you can also visit our parade page at the MHBA website — homebuilders.mb.ca — for more information on each of the show home listings. And be sure to follow the MHBA on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for the latest parade news, to enter fun contests and for featured show homes throughout the fall.

MHBA builders are looking forward to seeing you at the Fall Parade of Homes and welcoming you to your new home!
