Dollhouse Design’s Kelsey Kosman sets up at the 2018 Winnipeg Renovation Show at the RBC Convention Centre. The 2019 edition runs Jan. 11-13.

The end is near for 2018, which means the 2019 version of the Winnipeg Renovation Show is only weeks away. The event runs Jan. 11-13 at RBC Convention Centre.

This show has always kicked off the new year for home renovations, and Manitobans traditionally spend more on home renovations per capita than any other province. Manitoba is unique in that we consistently spend more money on renovations than on new-home construction.

With Winnipeg having the third-oldest housing stock in Canada, home renovations are a very big part of our lifestyle.

The Winnipeg Renovation Show provides consumers with the chance to visit with hundreds of renovation suppliers, all under one roof. It is also unique in that it provides a one-stop venue for consumers to test the renovation market and see, touch and feel what’s new and exciting in home renovation. The "Ask A Renovator" booth will be staffed by professional Manitoba Home Builders’ Association RenoMark renovators, who are available to answer your questions about an upgrade or renovation project you may be planning or dreaming about. These professional renovators can provide a free 15-minute consultation to help steer you in the right direction towards a new project for your home.

Just come to the show and you will be able to pick the brains of some of Manitoba’s finest renovators.

Whether you are a do-it-yourselfer or looking for a professional to help, the "Ask A Renovator" booth is the perfect starting point for your next renovation project. No matter how big or small, no matter if you’re committed to or just considering a project, make sure you start your next renovation project off on the right foot with professional advice.

The Winnipeg Renovation Show opens on Friday, Jan. 11, at noon and continues until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13. Mike Holmes Jr., star of HGTV Canada’s Holmes + Holmes, will be one of the special guest speakers on the lifestyle stage. There is a full slate of presenters throughout the show, offering plenty of valuable information to share with you. Your ticket to the show gets you in to see all of the entertaining and interesting stage presenters.

Be sure to get your tickets soon, so you don’t miss out on the first big home renovation event of the year. For more information or to buy your tickets, go to
