THIS weekend marks the official opening of a three week celebration as the Manitoba Home Builders' Association presents the annual Fall Parade of Homes. Continuing through Saturday, October 10, the Parade presents the newest and best in new home design and construction.
Manitoba's Parade of Homes is the longest running and largest in Canada; over three times larger than any other major centre.
This year's event features 100 new homes built by 33 different builders in 28 separate subdivisions. We are also very pleased that 10 different cities and towns have new homes participating in the Parade. There are 10 condominiums being featured this year. This variety of offerings is unequaled anywhere in Canada.
There is no limit to what one can discover during a Parade visit.
Whether you are looking for the latest in design and colour or room décor, checking out new room fixtures, keeping abreast of energy saving opportunities, or if you just want to spend a pleasant afternoon visiting some absolutely wonderful new homes, the 2009 Fall Parade of Homes is for you.
Many visitors find a new subdivision that they never knew existed.
Others want to see something in their current vicinity. Either way, that dream home that you have been waiting for just might be a short visit away.
Show homes are open Monday through Thursday from 3-8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
