Today and Sunday are the final two days of The Winnipeg Renovation Show at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg. The show runs today from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Everything about this show makes it the place to be this weekend. Just imagine — hundreds of experts covering every aspect of your home, all under one roof. Why drive all over the city making multiple stops in cold weather, getting in and out of your car several times? It’s all here, one-stop shopping, indoors. Nowhere else has this many experts on such a wide range of home renovation subjects at one time.
This show has always kicked off the new year for home renovations and Manitobans lead the nation in that department.
Manitoba is the only province in Canada where more money is spent on renovations than new home construction on a consistent basis. In that Winnipeg has the third-oldest housing stock in all of Canada, home renovations are a very big part of our lifestyle.
The Winnipeg Renovation Show is unique in that it provides a free avenue where consumers can go to test the renovation market.
The Ask a Renovator segment of the Manitoba Home Builders Association booth is staffed with two professional RenoMark renovators, who are available to answer your questions about a job you may be planning or just dreaming about.
They are there to provide free 15-minute consultations to help steer you in the right direction towards an enjoyable and exciting upgrade to your home.
Just come to the show and you will be able to pick the brains of one of Manitoba’s finest renovators.
Why not start your renovation off on the right foot by getting some professional advice?
Mia Perres and Rob Evans from HGTV’s The Expandables will be on the Lifestyle Stage today at noon for their final presentation of the renovation show.
The Lifestyle Stage also features numerous other experts throughout the day, today and tomorrow. The full slate is on the show website at winnipegrenovationshow.com.
There are also many contests, promotions and prize giveaways that could give you a head start on your renovation free of charge.
The Winnipeg Renovation Show is on today and Sunday.
Don’t miss your chance to see all of Manitoba’s best suppliers in one convenient place.
Mike Moore is president of the Manitoba Home Builders’ Association.
