IF YOU'VE been frustrated by tedious clean-ups after doing some painting around your home -- especially tidying up those annoying paint trays -- take heart.
Now available at Home Depot stores, the SHUR-LINE Paint Tray is no ordinary paint tray. Why? Well, the tray has been outfitted with a Teflon surface protector that's been designed to improve paint application -- and reduce clean-up time.
How does this new tray work? Simple: once you finish painting -- and have put excess paint back in the paint can -- allow the remaining paint coating to dry in the tray. Once dry, you can then simply peel the paint off the tray and dispose of it (with glee).
There are also two other benefits to the SHUR-LINE Paint Tray, says its manufacturer, Newell Rubbermaid: the metal tray doesn't flex under normal usage, which will prevent spills. And because it's been designed specifically for use with latex paints, there's no longer the need to use confounding tray liners, thus saving money and reducing mess-related angst.
