In most cases, the first thought that comes to mind when talking about condos on Wellington Crescent is how pricey units in the prestigious area can be — they typically start at $400,000 and the prices escalate quickly from there.
That’s why it is such a pleasant surprise to find a 1,492 sq. ft., two-bedroom, two-bath condo in the area that’s priced at just $349,900.
Sherri Baldwin of RE/MAX Executives Realty says the third-floor unit, which is located at 380 Wellington Cres., is a true gem for more than one reason.
"First, it’s one of the newer condo complexes on Wellington Crescent, it was built in 2004," she says. "Second, the building features concrete, not a wood frame construction, making for a solid, quiet building. Finally, the location is amazing. It’s at Wellington and Grosvenor Avenue in a great spot that’s close to a wide range of amenities."
Equally as important is the fact that much thought was put into the design of the spacious, well-kept suite, says Baldwin.

"The finishes, granite countertops and maple cabinets, are lovely, and there’s also a corner pantry for extra storage."
Baldwin adds that the engineered maple flooring, installed in 2016 makes the great room shine.
"It has a wonderful look to it, bright yet warm. It runs through most of the great room, giving it a rich, high-end feel."
The unit is also unique in that it features a split floor plan. With the bedrooms set on either side of the great room, the separation is superb.
"Each bedroom was placed in its own private area," Baldwin says. "The second bedroom was placed on the right-hand side in an enclosed wing along with a four-piece bathroom and huge linen closet. It could be used as a guest bedroom for visitors, or as an office."
Then, there’s the master suite way on the other side of the great room.
"It’s a peaceful space that comes with a tray ceiling, large window with a view of trees and homes across the way, a big walk-in closet and a spacious four-piece ensuite with jetted tub, four-foot shower, tile floor and maple vanity."
And while many condos offer little in the way of amenities, that’s not the case here, she says.

Suffice it to say, the immaculate condo has much to offer empty nesters or executive couples, says Baldwin.
"It has it all — an amazing location that’s walking distance to parks, restaurants and shopping, plenty of space, beautiful finishes and excellent amenities. I don’t think you’ll find a condo in the area that can match the value this one offers."
